— The public has a chance to get an up close look at Durham's past and future.

In April, the American Tobacco Historic District began offering free,

guided tours

of the campus on Tuesdays.

Due to popular demand, a Saturday tour has been added to the schedule starting May 15.

Tours will be held at 11 a.m. and will last approximately 1 hour. Participants should be at least 18 years old and must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.

Tour participants should meet in the gravel lot under the freeway at the south end of campus.
