WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — It looks like an ambitious plan to end homelessness in Raleigh is a go.
Wake County commissioners agreed Monday to contribute $10,000 to the 10-year action plan.
The money will help hire a consultant who will come up with better options for homeless people.
The city of Raleigh has also agreed to spend $10,000 on the project. Another $40,000 will have to be raised.
