Duke Professor Arrested On Drug Charges

DURHAM, N.C. — A Duke professor has been arrested on drug-related charges.

On Friday, John French and his wife were charged with maintaining a house for selling marijuana. The couple's son allegedly sold pot to a police officer and was charged with possession of other drugs.

French, an associate history professor at the school, has worked at Duke for 12 years.

The university had no comment on his arrest.
