SANFORD, N.C. — Officials have made two more arrests in the death of a Sanford man.
Anthony Clemmons and James Jones Jr. are accused of helping Dennis Clemmons, 37.Dennis Clemmons is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Thurman Allen, 54.
Investigators say Anthony Clemmons helped his brother hide the murder weapon and Jones helped Dennis Clemmons get away.
Investigators say Dennis Clemmons shot and killed Allen -- his girlfriend's father -- after he confronted Clemmons about beating his daughter on March 2.
