ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — A backlog of murder cases in one county means a high-profile trial will get put off until next year.
Robeson County prosecutors say Myron Britt will not stand trial until 2005.
Britt is charged with first-degree murder for allegedly killing his wife, Nancy, last August.
Nancy Britt was a Wake County teacher. Prosecutors believe her husband committed the crime to cash in on an $800,000 insurance policy.
