RALEIGH, N.C. — Friends and family remembered a Raleigh visionary Friday.
J. Willie York died earlier this week after complications from a stroke. His memorial was held Friday in Raleigh.
York left an indelible mark on Raleigh. He created Cameron Village, the first mall in the Southeast, in 1949.
