Officials Identify Victim Of Four Oaks Hotel Homicide

— Four Oaks police have identified a woman whose body was discovered in a motel room off Highway 96.

Investigators said 43-year-old Shelette Curry was stabbed several times in the throat.

They have no suspects or motive.

It is the first killing in Four Oaks in 10 years.

A motel employee saw blood on the door to the room and reported it.

Investigators are looking for a man who rented the room the day before.
