The Web site published its ranking Tuesday of America's Best Cities for Singles. Raleigh-Durham rallied from 17th place last year to reach the top five. It's ahead of places such as Washington-Baltimore, Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York.

Although Charlotte was ranked 33rd out 40 cities listed, Forbes says it's the cheapest city for singles in the country.

Last on the list of cities is Greensboro, although the magazine did say that it's no longer "Greensboring" but can now be described as "Greensbooming."

The Denver-Boulder area tops the list, which is based in part on culture, job growth, nightlife, cost of living, singles' population and a city's so-called "cool" factor. Austin, Texas, which ranked eleventh overall, was rated the coolest city of the bunch.
