Drought easing, lakes look healthy

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — After months of looking dry and desperate, Raleigh's main water source, Falls Lake, looks healthy again thanks to recent rain.

On Tuesday, the Raleigh City Council will reassess whether to continue with mandatory water restrictions.

Those restrictions include an "every-other-day" watering policy and a ban on car washing except at commercial car washes.
