Authorities Investigate Cause of Warehouse Fire Near Dunn

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are investigating the cause of a warehouse fire near Dunn Sunday evening.

The fire started just after 7 p.m. in a building that used to be known as the Candy Kitchen.

More than 25 fire trucks from 10 departments were called to battle the blaze north of Dunn on U.S. 301.

Fire officials said that the building was destroyed.

The building was currently being used by H and H Products, a janitorial supply company.

Officials said that the building did not have electricity, and that the firewould be investigated as suspicious until arson is ruled out.
