Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Opening arguments could begin Monday in the second trial of a man accused of shooting and killing a Raleigh restaurant worker.

Deon Partridge is accused of killing a cook during a robbery at a Sonic Drive-In two years ago.

His first trial was thrown out when a key investigator committed suicide. Two others charged in the murder are expected to testify against Partridge.

Jury selection is still under way.
