Judge Declares Mistrial In Sonic Murder Case

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County judge has declared a mistrial in the murder trial of a man accused of killing an employee at a north Raleigh drive-in restaurant.

Testimony in the state's case against Deon Partridge was brought to an abrupt halt last week after the suicide of a private investigator working for the defense.

A new trial for Partridge is scheduled for mid-November.
