Five People Charged In Death Of Man With Mental Disability

KINGS, MOUNTAIN, NC — Five people have been charged in theshooting death of a mentally disabled man who was leaving aconcert.

One is a 14-year-old boy who police say actually pulled thetrigger. Another suspect is 15.

Police say Justin Braswell was killed over less than 20 dollars. Braswell was shot once in the back not far from hisgrandmother's house Saturday night after a community concert.

Police said they recovered a .22-caliber handgun used in theshooting.

The adult suspects are all from Kings Mountain. Timothy AquillaMcDowell, Brian Hemphill and David Allen Glover are charged withfirst-degree murder, armed robbery and attempted armed robbery.They are being held without bond in the Cleveland County DetentionCenter.

The juveniles have also been arrested and face the same charges
