RALEIGH, N.C. — Crews responded to a gas leak on Avent Ferry Road in Raleigh Thursday afternoon.
PSNC Energy officials said a contractor who was digging up trees damaged a pipeline.
The gas was shut off to stop the leak.
Traffic was detoured onto Brigadoon Drive while crews made repairs.
