RALEIGH, N.C. — The state Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission on Wednesday discussed a proposal that would allow retailers to use coupons or membership cards to sell beer and wine at a discount.
The move comes as more wineries open in North Carolina, and the hearing by the ABC Commission is one step in the process of changing state regulation of alcohol sales.
