RALEIGH, N.C. — When it comes to Wake County Schools, one of the most divisive issues is about repairs and renovations.

The Citizens Facilities Advisory Committee toured Lacy Elementary Tuesday. If the $970 million school bonds pass, the building will get a $21 million renovation.
Some teachers and students claim the building makes them sick.
Bond opponents said the project is as expensive as building a new school.
