Homeless Man Faces Numerous Charges After Attacks

RALEIGH, N.C. — A homeless man faces a dozen charges for attacking a teacher and a police officer.

According to Wake County investigators, William Eldridge was walking near Neuse Baptist School on Capital Boulevard when he pulled a knife on a teacher who tried to help him.

Deputies arrested him and said Eldridge attacked the booking officer while in custody.
