Sister's Fiance May Have Been Target In Deadly Robeson Drive-By Shooting

Posted Updated

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — Robeson County investigators think they know who may have been targeted in a drive-by shooting that killed an 11-year-old girl.

Nicole Oxendine was killed as she slept in a bed at her sister's home. Detectives now believe the sister's fiance may have been the intended victim.

However, authorities still do not have a possible motive. Investigators say they have worked several leads in the case, but they do not feel like any of them are strong.
