$140K Worth of Stolen Prescription Drugs Seized In Moore County

CARTHAGE, N.C. — A Moore County man faces federal drug charges after investigators seized $140,000 in stolen prescription drugs.

Bobby Pusser, 26, of West End is in the custody of U.S. Marshals in Greensboro. He was arrested on federal charges of distributing crack cocaine.

After searching Pusser's home, investigators said they found nearly 8,000 prescription pills, 229 grams of liquid oxycodone, 147 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of powder cocaine and a handgun, among other illegal items.

Moore County authorities said the prescription pills had been stolen from a local pharmacy about a year ago.
