McLendon Makes Deal To Attend Driving School, Perform Community Service

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State University football player T.A. McLendon cut a deal Monday with the Orange County District Attorney's office.

The deal stems from a traffic stop back in October, when McLendon was charged with speeding and underage drinking.

Monday, the 19-year-old agreed to attend driving school and do community service.

Despite the pending charges, McLendon played in last month's Tangerine Bowl.

McLendon will return to court March 8.
