HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — There are new charges against Billy Apple a former tanning salon owner.
Investigators arrested the former tanning salon owner last spring after they found evidence he had been peeping on clients at his tanning salon. A grand jury has indicted Apple on new charges of taking indecent liberties with a child.
Investigators said several of the victims were juveniles. At least one was a student at East Chapel Hill high school, where Apple used to coach softball.
A grand jury had indicted Apple on dozens of counts of secret peeping.
