WILSON, N.C. — The Salvation Army needs its own salvation.
The Salvation Army's thrift store in Wilson is closing its doors. Officials said they are not getting enough donations to keep it going.
The store sold donated clothes and used the money to buy toys and food for families.
The Salvation Army said recent layoffs are pushing the need up and donations down.
