Bankrupt Textile Company Tries To Sell Properties To Pay Creditors

HENDERSON, N.C. — Harriet & Henderson Yarns

, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, put its properties on the auction block Thursday to raise money to pay off creditors.

A Henderson businessman bid $750,000 for the Americal Road property. Another bid for $130,000 went for a cotton warehouse.

Some of the properties received no offers.
