RALEIGH, N.C. — Former WRAL reporter Dan Wilkinson, who died Oct. 30, is being remembered with an award named in his honor.
The Wake Soil and Water Conservation District
named its annual communications award for Wilkinson. WRAL anchor David Crabtree presented the first award in Wilkinson's name Wednesday night to the
Wake Weekly.
For 20 years, Wilkinson reported on agricultural issues for Capitol Broadcasting, both on the radio and on WRAL TV.
