ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — A local college student has received a crowning achievement.
Robyn Baker has taken over the title of Miss UNC-Pembroke.
Baker, who was the first runner-up in the 2003 pageant, earned the title when Aja Locklear stepped down. Locklear was convicted of assault charges in October.
