REIDSVILLE, N.C. — Gov. Mike Easley says an Israeli company will be locating its first U.S. operation in the Triad area.
Easley says that AFG Wipes will be locating its first U.S. operation in Rockingham County. The $25,000- to $30,000-facility will employ some 200 people over the next four years.
It will make, package and distribute wet wipes for the baby, skin care, household and health care industries.
AFG Wipes is a subsidiary of Albaad Massuot Yitzhak, headquartered in Tel Aviv.
Easley says the announcement proves North Carolina will emerge from a national recession in a much more competitive position than other states.
