Police Investigate Stabbing at Fayetteville ATM

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man is recovering in the hospital after a stabbing at an ATM in Fayetteville.

The incident happened early Friday morning outside the First Citizens Bank on Bragg Boulevard.

According to authorities, the man was making a bank deposit when he was stabbed several times. Police officers are working with the bank to get surveillance video.

The ATM has been the site of violence before. Six years ago, a man was shot and killed at the same ATM.

A grocery store manager was attacked at the ATM while trying to make a night deposit, too. Police later arrested two men in that incident.
