<b>FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C.</b> — Members of the Fuquay-Varina High School soccer team are in shock over the death of one of their teammates.

Christopher Martin, 16, was killed in a crash Saturday on Bass Lake Road in Holly Springs.

Police said Martin was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.

He was the only one in the car, and no other cars were involved.
