DURHAM, N.C. — Science and health are the motivations behind a huge grant for a Durham museum.
The
Museum of Life and Science
in Durham won $1 million grant to develop a project called "Investigate Health."
The project will include a 2,000-square foot, hands-on exhibit complete with an interactive computer program to teach people about children's health issues.
The museum will team with several local organizations, including Duke Medical Center. The exhibit is expected to open in the fall of 2006.
