WASHINGTON — A Durham businessman is tops in technology.
President George W. Bush presented the
National Medal of Technology
to Dr. Calvin Carter Thursday.
It is the highest honor for science and technology innovation in the country.
Carter is a graduate of North Carolina State University and the founder of Cree Inc. in Durham.
