Two Killed In Traffic Accident Near Goldston

GOLDSTON, N.C. — A two-vehicle traffic accident left two people dead Friday night.

According to investigators, the accident heppened at 7:22 p.m. on state road 1176 about five miles outside Goldston. A vehicle failed to yield the right of way and struck another vehicle.

Two passengers in the first vehicle were killed. They were identified as Emory Edwards, 19, and Rachael Curren, 19, both of Lillington.

Two other people were injured. Their names had not been released Saturday, and there was no information on the severity of their injuries.
