GRANVILLE COUNTY, N.C. — Officials broke ground Thursday on a housing development in Granville County.
Oxford Park will be a 557-acre residential community with more than 1,300 single-family homes and over 500 apartments and condominiums.
The development is expected to relieve the housing shortage that has kept Oxford's population stagnant since the 1990s.
