RALEIGH, N.C. — Former State Agriculture Commissioner Jim Graham is in the hospital Thursday, being treated for pneumonia.
Graham's former secretary says the "Sodfather" is in stable condition at Rex Hospital.
The 82-year-old was also treated for pneumonia last December.
Graham stepped down from the State Agriculture Department in 2000. He had been in office 36 years.
Graham, who has a number of health problems, has been living in a convalescent center.
