<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh children are invited to come to Optimist Park on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. dressed in their Halloween best and get sweets by "trunk or treating."

You can even scare everyone with your own rendition of homemade spookiness using your van, trunk, or truck bed. Prizes will be awarded for the most original trunk decoration.

The evening will have plenty of candy, hayrides, and creepy scares for the whole family. Food also will be available for purchase, and admission is free.
