Clinton H.S. Principal Will Not Face Assault Charges

Posted Updated

CLINTON, N.C. — A Clinton high school principal will not face assault charges.

Police investigated assault claims against principal Jeff Bell.

A parent claimed Bell bumped her son during an argument two weeks ago. Investigators say there is not enough evidence to charge Bell.

Earlier in October, the Clinton Board of Education cleared Bell of claims he allegedly made racist comments about a school official.
