2 Men Charged in Fatal Rocky Mount Shooting

Two men are in custody after a fatal shooting at a Rocky Mount bar.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Two men are in custody after a fatal shooting at a Rocky Mount bar.

Police said Travis Whitehead, 25, of 1413 Hargrove St. in Rocky Mount, shot Quanteds Montrial Andrews at the First Class Sports Bar around 3:30 a.m. Friday. Andrews was pronounced dead on the scene.

Whitehead was later arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Police also arrested Willie Tillery Jr., 28, of 525 Atlantic Avenue in Rocky Mount, for accessory after the fact.

Whitehead and Tillery were both held Saturday at the Rocky Mount Jail with no bond.
