Incumbent Drops Out Of Fayetteville City Council Race

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The list of
councilor candidates
in Fayetteville just got shorter.
Election officials told WRAL that Mark Kendrick withdrew from the race without giving a reason.
Kendrick was running as the incumbent for City Council.
Challenger Paul Williams will now take on a write-in candidate for the District 6 spot.
Kendrick has been on the City Council for more than 15 years.
