Prosecutors To Decide Whether To Seek Death Penalty Against Robert Petrick

DURHAM, N.C. — Robert Petrick could find out this week if he will face the death penalty.
Petrick is accused of killing his wife, Janine Sutphen. The Durham symphony cellist disappeared in January.
A pair of fishermen found her body floating in Falls Lake in May. Sutphen was wrapped in a tarp and tied up in chains.
Prosecutors are expected to announce their decision Thursday. Lawyers are also considering the possiblity of a plea agreement.
