Pedestrians Killed In Wake, Johnston Counties

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Two pedestrians were struck and killed in separate incidents.
In Raleigh, police said a Carrboro man was struck and killed on the inner loop of the I-440 Beltline at the Hillsborough Street interchange at 10:59 p.m. MOnday.
Michael David Rozier, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck that struck Dozier was not charged.
In Johnston County, a pedestrian kneeling in the middle of the road was struck on Highway 70 Business at Sadisco Road around 12:50 a.m Tuesday.
The Highway Patrol said Ximeno Xexser Jay, 75, was killed instantly. The patrol said charges will be filed.
