CLINTON, N.C. — The Clinton Board of Education says a high school principal did not use a racial slur.
Clinton High School principal Jeff Bell was accused of using a racial term to describe an African-American school official.
Following a public hearing and investigation, the board found that only two people were involved in the conversation in question and both denied a slur was used.
The allegations came from an employee not present at the time.
