Duke Shortens Camping Season At Krzyzewskiville

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — Duke University students will spend less time camping out in Krzyzewskiville this basketball season.

The school is shortening its tent city tradition by several weeks.

Students seeking coveted front-row seats at Cameron Indoor Stadium will be allowed to pitch their tents three weeks before a February matchup with Maryland and two weeks before the UNC game on March 6.

School officials became concerned last season when some students spent up to six weeks camping out for tickets.
