RALEIGH, N.C. — If you are headed to the
North Carolina State Fair
in October, you will find it tougher to find a place to park.
There is a mountain of dirt at a field next to N.C. State's Veterinary School across from the state fairgrounds.
Officials say an ongoing construction project will cost hundreds of public parking spaces during the fair. They are scrambling to work out alternative parking plans.
