Educators Arrive In Nash County To Help Boost Grades

Posted Updated

NASH COUNTY, N.C. — Help has arrived for a high school in Nash County.

A 12-person assistance team was dispatched by the state to spend the entire school year at Northern Nash High School.

Northern Nash is one of six schools in North Carolina with a low-performing status. Assistance teams are sent to traditional public schools in this category to help bring test scores up.

Last year, every school with an assistance team moved off the "low performing" list.
