Two Workers Taken To Hospital After Durham Scaffolding Collapse

DURHAM, N.C. — Scaffolding on the side of a home in a Durham subdivision collapsed just after noon Monday, injuring two workers.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Annandale Drive in the Loch Nora subdivision to remove the workers from under the collapsed scaffold.

Two people were transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. EMS officials said they will not have the names of the injured workers until late Monday or early Tuesday.

EMS officials also said they do not know what the workers were doing at the house or who the workers worked for.

The State Labor Department is investigating the accident.
