Three More Disaster Recovery Centers Open In Northeast N.C.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two more Disaster Recovery Centers were scheduled to open Monday to help residents who suffered losses in Hurricane Isabel. Another DRC was opened Sunday.

The three centers are to help people who already have registered with FEMA by phone to fill out their paperwork and get answers to questions.

The hours at all the centers will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

The center that opened Sunday is located in Edenton, at the William Gardner Recreation Center in the Old National Guard Armory at 702 North Broad Street.

Opening Monday are these centers:

  • Camden Fire Dept. 114 Sawyers Creek Road Camden, N.C., 27921
  • The center opened at 8 a.m. Monday
  • Albermarle Commission Building 512 South Church St. Hertford, N.C. 27944
  • The center opens at 1 p.m.
