RALEIGH, N.C. — Several Wake County schools were on lockdown Friday following a bank robbery.
Police said someone robbed the RBC Centura Bank in Cameron Village just before noon.
While police searched for the suspect, they locked down six area schools -- Broughton High, Fred A. Olds Elementary, Partnership Elementary, Daniels Middle, Underwood Elementary and Wiley Elementary -- for about an hour.
Right now, the robber is still on the run.
