DURHAM, N.C. — A bus driver whose bus hit a Durham teacher's car Tuesday morning has been suspended.
Authorities say Patsy Gupton's bus crossed the center line and hit Yvette Umscheid's car.
Umscheid, who was taking her son to school on Junction Road, is currently listed in serious condition.
Charges are pending from the Highway Patrol with a decision expected by the end of the week.
