Durham Police Investigate Homicide

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham man was shot to death Saturday afternoon in the 1000 block of Rosedale Avenue, according to Durham police.

The incident was reported at 2:27 p.m. when a friend who was trying to get help for the victim, 25-year-old Devondre Peace, drove him to Durham Police Headquarters on Chapel Hill Street.

Officers found the Peace inside a minivan parked in the visitors parking lot near the front of Police Headquarters. Peace was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case is under investigation.
