A WRAL-TV holiday tradition continues this year as the station's 300-foot TV tower was transformed into a 300-foot Christmas tree on Friday evening. Watch the festivities on video, look at pictures and join in the joy of the seasonal celebration.

Located at the WRAL-TV Studios on Western Boulevard in Raleigh, the lighted tower can be seen for miles through New Year's Day.

Three 5-foot stars adorn the top of the tower and 2,805 colored lights keep it glowing throughout the holiday season.

Special guests for WRAL's special "Tower of Lights" Friday evening included Performance Edge, Waltye Rasulala and Capitol Broadcasting Co. President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Goodmon.
