Raleigh City Council Approves Funding For Fayetteville Street Project

RALEIGH, N.C. — Financing for the Fayetteville Street makeover received the green light Tuesday.

The Raleigh City Council voted to use reserve money for the $1.5 million engineering contract.

Officials want to open Fayetteville Street Mall to vehicle traffic in hopes of revitalizing the downtown area.
